This is cute!! Really great shot. B&W seems a bit flat, not too bad though.

You have enough of a range of tone here to distinguish grains of sand in the foreground, which is really good. Great capture of the birds and good variety in the head poses - also, very nicely framed shot.

Comment by CNovack:
Love the perspective in this composition - the rockwall stairway beacons forth the viewer to climb up to take a closer look at the lighthouse. The sky near the top of the lighthouse has blown out contrasts - use of the burn tool can tone that down. Some of the contrast in tones are a little flat throughout - some have suggested some dodgeing and burning which is a good suggestion another might be to play around with the Channel Mixer as well to adjust some levels.

Nice! I sometimes get good skies out of my polarizer, when it makes the blue so dark.

Wonderful perspective and great composition. Would like perhaps to see a bit of burning / dodging in foreground, especially to bring out the stairs more. Very well done indeed!

I think the subject and composition are really fantastic, beautiful scene. The sky is definitely too light though, and personally I'd like to see the whole shot a little darker. Maybe a polarizer?
