Moon Palace in Iceby ScholtenComment by alanfreed: Interesting ice sculpture! It would have been interesting to add a person in the shot, or something else that would add a point of reference to show the size of the sculpture. It's hard to tell how big that is. |

The Beaverby ScholtenComment by AdiGri: When I was younger I took a 2 day trip up the river on a tug just like that... This picture probably got low marks for the "point and shoot" feel. Probably a different angle, a warmer light, different framing and some color saturation would have worked wonders. |

The Red Buoyby ScholtenComment by RainMotorsports: Now if this were Red Minimalism id say you ribboned... otherwise your pushing the envelope. Id rather lick the envelope just for the taste! |

Myrtlewood and Orbsby ScholtenComment by BakerBug: The flash you used is what really hurts this shot. The closest end of the table is in very harsh light edged by a hard shadow, and the furthest end is too dark. A longer exposure using natural light may have worked much better. |

The Red Buoyby ScholtenComment by doug61853: not only is there almost no red in this photo, but it is not the subject...therefore the viewer almost misses the red buoy because chiefly of the wave and splash |

Myrtlewood and Orbsby ScholtenComment by bassbone: The tones in the wood are very nice - but the lighting (I assume an on camera flash) really creative an uneven feel. The harsh lighting seems more of a snapshot. |

The Red Buoyby ScholtenComment by FireBird: Good balance between the rock with the bouy and the breaking wave. Might look nicer with some late evening or morning light. |
