Wow abstract! If you hadn't mentioned in the title what it is I wouldn't have guessed. But now that I look at it a little longer, I see it is a long cylinder of glass. It sure gives off an amazing effect with the light shining through it. The only part I find a little strange is that there is a gradient of shadows to lightness starting at the back to the front, then there is a sudden area of darkeness at the base of the log. Other than that, a very good submission.

i don't mind the subject too centered, love the blue background ,it helps hold the subject in place........ primary colors in the center ties everything together coz it holds the viewers attention right where u intended them to look......
