Nicely done, and I think it's more challenging to have the background use the same color as the foreground and still have the subject stand out so well. I might have rotated it a bit so the flower was primarily leaning into the picture instead of out of it; it just feels slightly off-balance to me compositionally. Excellent entry overall.

I agree about the colour. The shapes and shadow are great, as well as the symetrical look. The colour is a bit bland and a change to black and white may look better.

it's great that this "caught your eye" many people would've thought nothing of it. I think it's a little busy but the lighting is good.
