The Day's Endby Dominic146Comment by Yo_Spiff: A pleasing scene. You should have used the entire 720 pixels allowed in at least one direction, however.
Also, your file size of only 47k indicates a highly compressed image and that may be robbing a lot of additional detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (200k for this one) |

Lizardby Dominic146Comment by fldave: Compositionally strong - I think the diagonal works very well, along with the dof. |

Test Shotby Dominic146Comment by scooter97: Try shooting this at f/5.6 or f/8 Sometimes the sharpest images are not at the largest or smallest apertures, but somewhere in-between. |

Lizardby Dominic146Comment by scooter97: This is really sharp! Great details in the scales and eye. The f/2.8 really gives this a nice background. |

Lizardby Dominic146Comment by Jedusi: Nice shot .
Good PoV and focus looks just right.
Handsome little chap :- )
If you want to try something different with this is PP you could consider either a n 'Acid' treatment, or maybe toning it ?

Lizardby Dominic146Comment by MelonMusketeer: Nice job of PP to reduce sat for this item. The muted colors bring out the detail in the skin and eyes, and that is also helped by the shallow DOF from the 2.8. |
