Anyhow, to complete my thought, I think the mixed lighting makes this appear too artificial -- it seems as if the girl is standing in front of a poster of the sea (maybe she was?).

Be my guide in all I do; Bless all... by marcusvdt Comment by macrothing: Think I see what you were going for, but there are too many elements which distract - the shirt, the writing on the shirt, the ship/rig in the background, crooked horizon, blown sky, the pose/facial expression - but mostly that this looks 'spriteish'.
