Street Racerby Pick001Comment by quiche: Crop off the lower portion of the shot. It doesn't contain anything interesting. Fill more of the frame with the car and the colorful items in the upper portion. |

Street Racerby Pick001Comment by paynekj: I don't think you are doing yourself any favours by including all the background clutter. The car on it's own looks very good. |

Too Cold to Golfby Pick001Comment by GUTomek: The shadow led me to the ball, this is a very nice use of black as most entries would put this ball on black velvet or the like. The image is a little grainy, perhaps your ISO is a little high? |

Too Cold to Golfby Pick001Comment by trevytrev: I like the use of shadow and compositon in this shot but the lighting seesm a bit off. I feel that a white balance correction could have eliminated the yellow tint of the light and the picture seems a bit dark. I think a higher key shot might make this pop a bit more. There also seems to be excessive noise in the shadows and this could be from trying to fix the lighting in PS. |

Suburban Oasisby Pick001Comment by glad2badad: Oh man. Why didn't you move in about 7 or 8 steps closer? You have a decent subject item here, but the foreground grass is really taking away from the overall impact of the presentation. Another option/choice would have been to use a split ND filter upside down to control the light on the grass (polarizer instead perhaps?). Lots of light reflecting off those grass blades. Just some observations. Good luck! |
