Calm in L.A.by JklmnComment by boyd2000: The tiny size is going to cost you points. Also the composition with a face growing out of the blonde woman's chin. If this is your first challenge don't get discouraged. A few minor improvements and it would be very good. |

Calm in L.A.by JklmnComment by Yo_Spiff: I'm afraid this just looks like a snapshot, though it is a decent one. It's also severely cropped. You should use every bit of the 640 pixels allowed, at least in one direction. |

Calm in L.A.by JklmnComment by aimeethetoo: A great idea - I imagine calm is not something you see everyday in L.A.! People may already be telling you this but, just in case they are not, your image is sized very small and we can't see any detail. Please let me know if you have questions - I think there is a great tutorial on this site somewhere that explains how to size for the site. Good luck with your pic. |

Calm in L.A.by JklmnComment by Five_Seat: Very small. Also, I am finding trouble in relating this picture to the theme of the challenge. |

Calm in L.A.by JklmnComment by 777STAN: Nice Photo, but it saved as a very small jpeg. I had this same problem when I started two years ago. If you simply learn about the step called "Save for Web", especially in PhotoShop, then you can save a beautiful photo with one side being at the 640 pixel mark. Tutorial About "Saving for Web" Thread About "S4W" Hope these help...I'm just sharing the same kind of help that I was given when I was a Newbie. Much Success to you...and...You're Welcome! :) |
