This photo meets the challenge but it lacks any particular visual interest. I really wish I had more to say, but the composition and the overall presentation doesn't grab my attention very much.

Too much negative space, maybe a long thin aspect ratio would have suited this shot better?

A good idea, numbering the eggs was a very nice touch. The clarity on this is just off and I think having them in a nest of sorts would have been better to me, or even in an incubation type box as if you might really be trying to hatch them.. The lighting is well done, the shadows add a nice touch. Started with a 5, going to a 6

I'm interpreting this as the speaker of the truth doesn't have access to the microphone (it's too far away). If that's the case, then WOW. Strong message. Using DOF really helps bring out the meaning. Very well done.

Well done. Great lighting and I really like the way te microphone is really clear and the speaker out of focus. One of the few pictures in this chalenge, that actually meets the criteria of the chalenge

Interesting image though I'm not quite sure what it's saying. Who speaks the truth, on what subject?
I do like the image itself and the choices of B/W and limited DOF work well for me.
I'd like to see the vertical line of the mike more accurately vertical within the frame.
