Ready for Flight?by JenHallComment: Ehh, it's a fine (but odd) portrait, and I do "get" the connection with the challenge, but no, I'm not going for "full challenge" credit. The glare across the forehead and on the nose is a bit heavy. 5 Rob the Swash |

Chrome Domeby MorganComment: Lovely shot, but it's on the ground (as you know). It's a bit of a stretch. Love the reflection - where are you? (I like that part) 8 Rob the Swash |

Take-offby jab119Comment: Cool shot, great details. Facing you would have been a touch better, but beggers and choosers, right? 8 Rob the Swash |

Free Flightby myqylComment: Well, it's not flying, but I'll not give you too much of a hard time on that. White is tough, the glare (over-exposed) tail really hurts this image, the head is better, but still a bit rough. Looks like it was a rainy day. 6 Rob the Swash |

Welcome home!by tp-fcpComment: Lovely color! Nicely sharp. (Wrong brand of airplane - O.K. I work for Boeing...)
The sky is just a bit too bright in the lower right corner. 8 Rob the Swash |

C-2A Greyhoundby jimmyn4Comment: Nice shot, might be a touch over-sharpened, maybe not. Nice framing. 8 Rob the Swash |

Untitledby tomlewis1980Comment: Very nice capture. I'd have liked a little more contrast with the background, but that's being overly picky. Good detail on the bird. Congrats on a really nice shot. 9 Rob the Swash |

pollen......by undieyatchComment: Kinda hard to see in the photo, I'm sure you could see it standing there, but the detail of this shot doesn't really grab it. 5 Rob the Swash |

Poppy Podsby SwashbucklerComment: Hard to figure from the comments. Each seems to have taken an element of this photo to either like or not.
Try this deeper meaning....The background is a poppy flower picture, blurred a bit. The two poppy pods are turned sideways and pushed together in the shape of an hourglass. The poppy picture is frozen in time, exemplified by the sideways hourglass, while the poppy pods are are themselves an example of how time goes past, decay happens.
I really liked this photo and the symbolizm that went with it. |

Breaking Freeby dsidwellComment: Lovely set up. Extremely well taken shot. Nicely exposed. The trailing off seed is a great touch (it must have taken forever to set up!) 10 Rob the Swash |
