lovely saturated colors, on my monitor there seems to be a lot of flecks of white like it was over-sharpened or perhaps debris on the lens which detracts from an otherwise really nice shot

like the B&W over all but very very sharp on my monitor which makes the table top's grain pull more focal attention than the treat. Love te composition otherwise.

I think the heavier grain detracts from the photo and seems to have drained color from the capture. the melon looks to ave begun to go bad.

I think that some folks are so locked into thinking that 'abstract' ONLY means blurred or distorted. It also encompasses things like this where the background is essentially non-existent lending an odd sense of displacement or other-worldliness. It pains me when people say things to the effect of IMHO DNMC. As much as their interpretation flavors THEIR submissions, your interpretation flavors YOURS. This photo is so much better than the score.
