Having mistaken the lip of the pouring spout as a stream of gravy, the title befuddled rather than clarified my interpretation of the image. I see it now, and can only admire the way your thinking out of the boat.

Actually the robot was presented to me by the Planetary Society for my work on the Spirit & Opportunity Science teams at JPL during the Mars missions, and is mounted on a one-foot-square landscape. I supervised sixteen international students over the course of six weeks and was present for both landings. Unfortunately my enthusiasm for the quest for water on Mars did not translate to the DPC voting community, but I am new at this, and my scores continue to rise, so I take it with a grain of salt.

The image is actually a reflection taken off a brass plaque, thus the color cast. The "dust" appears where the metal had been burnished off.
