I simply forgot....I didn't notice I had forgotten the title....it wasn't laziness. Thank you for your comment and the great score. I'm dissappointed that the lack of a title would be reason to have an affect on how much someone enjoyed an image...but that is your choice, of course. |

Bonus points if you make it look like his foot is grasping the white frame :) |
Yes, I agree that would be cool, but the thing under the bird is a small branch, not its leg. The leg and foot are tucked up under the feathers. I will try to bring the branch out of the frame to make it a little more understandable. |
Ah, ok... apparently I was not very observant...LOL! I like the idea of bringing the branch out...would make a big impact, I think. :) |

What type of lens were you using that has an aperture of 50.5? |
It doesn't. But, for some reason, Corel (the latest one) does crazy things with the exif info. I just haven't gotten around to correcting it in my portfolio. Makes it a pain in the rear...gotta get Corel to fix that.
The lens is a Sigma 150-500 f/5-6.3 EX IS HSM, btw |

kookaburraby BeetleComment: Wow....what a crazy looking bird! The head looks too big for the body and the beak too big for the head! Very neat looking bird, though....and a great shot! |

5 p.m. - Tea time! by Alex_PetriniComment: People can think what they want...but it's only the DPC judges opinions that matter...and it IS a fantastic shot. IMO it definitely deserved to win. |
