Starburstby weavercComment: I like this idea with the shadow. It fits the challenge well. I'm not sure why it doesn't really hold my interest...although the more I look at it, the more I like it. Maybe if the contrast was a little higher and less gray? Anyway, I do like the composition alot. |

Wine bottle to be recycledby GoldBerryComment: Different idea. I like the angle and the white background. I think it fits the challenge well and some thought has gone into making this "art". |

Solder by ScottKComment: One of my favorites so far. Fits the challenge and I like the composition and the lighting. The lighting at the end and on the smoke, with the slight purplish tint is nice. Good luck in the challenge. |

Time for workby ClayaComment: Fits the challenge. Lighting seems a little dark to me. I also wish there had been an "hour hand" to appear more clock-like - but that's just a personal opinion. I like the choice of the wood background. |

Rustyby anthony57Comment: Good choice of b/w here I think. I would have liked to have seen less plant and more old truck and wood. Overall, I do like this shot. |

The Old Chessboard in my garageby terjeComment: I like the coloring in this shot. You sure have prettier things in your garage than I had in mine! Something about the kind of glare of light in the upper left I find to be distracting and I'm not crazy about the amount of dark on the right. Still, a nice subject to shoot. I do like the shadows of the pieces on the left being on the board. Good luck in the challenge. |

City Driver Parking In Suburbiaby GolferDDSComment: Cute photo....I think a slight rotation to the right to straighten the horizontal would help it a little. I'll bet your neighbors thought you were crazy! Don't know that it reflects my idea of "art" - but we all know how subjective that can be! Fun entry. |
