"Transport" the Transportation.by oksamitComment: this is an intriguing picture. with the possession of buses (including the lame one at the back) they have the appearance of a (albeit wagon) train. nice practice for the selective desat challenge too. focus is nicely maintained, but i would have cropped it differently - there's too much empty road in the foreground which isn't countered by any emptiness at the top. it's also a little bit on the pale / bright side, but that's more personal taste and isn't a problem vote-wise. 7. |

Nostalgiaby HRoxasComment: very very nice. i love side-on shots of cars, and this chummy, is a great example and brilliant choice of subject matter. the blue of the gorgeous car is wonderful, and i also love your choice of background. only reservation i have is that the ends of the whatever-it-is (caddy?) is a bit close to the sides of the frame. that aside, i think it's well composed and very lovely to look at. 8. |

Constructionby lizzyc3Comment: ignoring the fact that i don't really see this being a P,T, or A (it's not even transport really, more plant) i would consider this a really decent shot. considering you've chosen a diggers less interesting end (its bum) you've managed to give it a certain degree of style, probably helped with the correct decision to be B&W. However, the top of the cab looks a bit odd (band of darkness) and i think you might've cropped just a bit too much off the right. still, nice photo. 7. |

Speedby nbortonComment: great shot, brilliant conveyance of speed, and well done you for keeping the car in such pristine focus. must have been a right bugger to get right, or at least it would have been for me. 10. |

The Black Tornadosby duncesComment: This has some very nice touches; particular favourite aspects include the sky reflected in the windows, and the earthy yellows, greens and browns of the environment contrasting with the more urban look of the car. personally, i might have stepped closer to the car and taken the shot / crop in a landscaped orientation (to me the top half of the sky is a bit redundant and samey - better to focus on all the action in the bottom half of the sky). overall quite appealing. 7. |

The fastestby darixComment: boo! should have let rubens pass him - held him up he did. and with the loss of the renaults we were cheated out of a storming GP. Anyway, it's a great action shot, though it does appear a little on the bright side... 9. |

Time to rest.by sixmacsComment: gorgeous sky, wonderful colours, lots of drama... the structure on the right is a bit distracting, and unbalances the horizon a little bit. the deep depth of field isn't completely apparent either, i'm afraid. but still, striking image. 6. |

The Forth Rail Bridge@ 5amby agwrightComment: this is text book stuff, and no mistake. though the rocks in the foreground are a bit of a distraction, it's proof that you've accomplished a very skilled VERY DEEEP DOF, so i guess a bit of a necessary evil. and isn't the bridge gorgeous? the colours appear a little bit washed out / bright to me, but that aside, fantastic stuff. 9. |

Deep Depth of Blueby LegatoMuzicComment: great picture, only let down slightly by the banding of the sky in the top third. this is possibly because your image has been over processed or compressed too much. with regards to the challenge specifics - well i have no idea if this fits a deep DOF. though the foreground is nicely in focus, the background clouds look a bit fluffy, but then they would, wouldn't they. so i'll ignore the challenge specifics here, and give you a 6 for a nice bright shot. |

The HP # 3by TommyMoe21Comment: I'm half of those that gave you a ten for this, and i only gave 4 of them during this challenge. shocked it didn't do better - i mean it wasn't if you just took a picture of your keyboard; you made this an interesting, well composed and striking piece of art. i think some fellow voters have blinders on when faced with something seemingly mundane, and anything close to hand to the average internet user. but dammit, it's far from being that. anyway, i guess it's hard cheese matey, should've been a top tenner. |
