Nice DOF
The bridge becomes a bit insignificant with rocks in the foreground. This doen't make it a bad photograph, it makes it a great picture in my humble opinion.
Good luck

Excellent, simple composition - exactly what I was expecting for this challenge, which is not always a bad thing. Great colour, great detail - I wish more people would simply choose the right time of day to try and take this kind of shot. Not exceptional - would perhaps want more drama in the sky for that, or something - but certainly very good indeed. 8 |

The first thing I thought when I clicked this picture was "whoa". This is a beautiful photo. It perfectly captures the challenge theme and the DOF is great. Composition and detail are excellent and the low POV works well.... 9 |

I believe you...taken from South Queensferry on the wee road that takes you to Cramond and the light is on the correct side of the bridge for that time of day.
This shot is an absolute beauty..well worth getting up early for.
Well done...10 |

this is text book stuff, and no mistake. though the rocks in the foreground are a bit of a distraction, it's proof that you've accomplished a very skilled VERY DEEEP DOF, so i guess a bit of a necessary evil. and isn't the bridge gorgeous? the colours appear a little bit washed out / bright to me, but that aside, fantastic stuff. 9. |
