Railroad Enthusiastby ClubJuggleComment: Beautiful. Nice color, composition & exposure. One of the strongest entries this week (and not just because it's deisel-powered). |

Audubon Magazineby ccraftComment: Nice composition. Looks like you were really close! Not enough light to get a good exposure- contrast is pretty flat. Using a higher ISO setting on your camera could have solved that. |

THE BUZZby channeledComment: Cute. Not really appropriate for the cover of an entertainment magazine, but cute. Nice to finally see some signs of Spring (not here yet). Composition looks better to me when cropped on both sides. |

Wildlife Conservationby GraciousComment: Good shot and appropriate for that publication. Looks like the light was starting fade on you. I wish I could see a little more water at the top. |

Traditional Bakingby DiamondPeteComment: Mmmmm! Good idea. You'd benefit from a warmer light (always helps for baked goods) and maybe a shallow point of view to add depth. OK- now I have to go get a snack... |

Parentingby sagestudioComment: That's some serious color! I think you might have done even better with a brightly-colored shirt and cropping out the feet. Could be a dental publication too- aaaaaahhh! ;-) |

Northwest Travelby timj351Comment: A great scene apparently compromised by fading light. Maybe a flash could have captured some detail in the dog and livened up the foreground? Plenty of room for type. I like the composition, although I'd flip the shot to get the dog more to the right (important for magazines believe it or not). |

Backpackingby PaigeComment: A good shot that's believable as a magazine cover, but not a very exciting destination. Those mags tend to feature the Grand Tetons or other specacular scenery. Maybe if you cropped out the trees to leave more to the imagination? |

Birder's Worldby jrs915Comment: A common bird, but very well executed shot. If you had captured an Ivory Billed Woodpecker, I'd give you a 10. |
