Birder's Worldby debrownComment: Good composition, not-so-good Photoshop blur (plainly visible around the Cardinal and top leaves). Not really enough detail for a magazine cover (though it might have been perfect if you had a longer zoom). Nice choice of subject. |

Dog Fancyby shkelly587Comment: Cute. Seems more likely to appear in a photo album than a magazine cover, though. Focus is a little off on pup's face, and shouldn't he have a cell phone? ;-) |

Southern Gardenerby mcmurmaComment: Ah, the Fairer Fawcett centerfold issue. ;-) Interesting, though a little static... perhaps a little more off-center or late afternoon sun for drama? |

Watercolor Digestby carlacrypticComment: That would certainly work- good color & layout. Who do your think would be more offended- the Digest for submitting a photo for a watercolor magazine or DPC voters for submitting a watercolor on a photo site? It's an image to be proud of, but no longer a photo in my opinion. |

Car and Driverby thelselComment: This would make a very cool cover- except that Porsche would sue you over it. It's make a great annual report for Porsche! ;-) |

Cat Fancyby SharonSComment: Suitable layout, good detail and pretty eyes. The light is rather flat- no real shadows or warmth. Kind of a blank expression on kitty. |

Potty Training Monthly: The Musical Royalby dacrazyrnComment: Really trying to shoehorn one in there, aren't you? I can't find any reference to Potty Training Monthly online (THIS is your favorite magazine?!). Giving you the benefit of the doubt- the layout IS suitable for a magazine, although the shot is so dark, it's hard to see. Quite a unique, uh... concept. |

Surferby MickComment: Ooooh. Good shot and a fine cover. I don't know if it's the crop or the camera, but I'd really like to see more detail. |

Fortune Magazineby dsidwellComment: Cool- I like the composition and overall 'money' color. I hope the props didn't cost you $100! Maybe you could have shot this reversed (dolls at bottom right and shadow in back)? Half the dolls would lost under the headline here. |
