I like how the light shows up and looks like a half moon, its a pitty that you couldn't get some light to show in the other ones to complete the picture

Sunset on Mt Ruapehu

What day was this, I spent all Saturday afternoon and drove right around the mountain starting at Waiouru then out through Ohakune, National park, turangi and back along the desert Road ending up on the Tukino Ski field access road at sunset (bloody cold) I was at the complete wrong angle for the sunset as I had no idea where it would go down, so none of my shots work as well as this so I entered a completly different one - 7

I'm trying to work out if you used cables to hold the ladder and cloned them out or you have some sort of frame hidden just behind the rise... I think the second option ?
the shot has good colors and lighting, but the shot dose not seem balanced to me
maybe moving the space from the bottom and right to the top and left would have helped so it would look like you were climbing more into space - 7
