No tutorial needed for not breaking "basic editing" rules in submitting monochromatic photos. I'm the one who needs a tutorial for getting photos off my camera without creating a DQ-able "copy".
Editing Steps:
1) took photo of monochromatic surface (back of a spiral notebook)
2) hue shifted to blue
3) saturation increased for intensity
4) noise reduced
5) square crop
6) resized to 800x800
7) submitted
8) DQd.
Note: No basic rules were injured or killed in the shooting of this animal. |

So not only are members regularly called out for not voting 'properly' (trolls, etc), but are now called out for not taking the 'right' kind of pictures as well? I'm afraid that that, is pathetic. Actually, it's rather worse. |
When you see the same thing over and over again on purpose, just for the purpose of wanting the brown ribbon, it gets boring. So , make me the bad person for knowing what a great tog Charlie is and knowing that he does this, cos he 'can'. The first 10 times it was funny. |
I appreciate that julietNN found humor in at least 10 of these boring entries. I still have quite a long way to go before working my way around the RGB color wheel on my way to the true color of "brown". Tee Hee :) |

Flawlessby raishComment: sorry I missed this masterpiece long ago in March 2009, with such a large field and this stand alone wonder, nicely done by one of DPCs true brown ribbon grandmasters! |
