I really like the colors, how the rust becomes so vibrant. I also like the pattern which is seemingly random and intentional at the same time. I can't wait to hear what the subject really is since this crop doesn't give me much of a clue.

I don't feel I have the photographical experience to comment on the composition, but a bit of post processing could have made the picture come more to life. Specifically, more contrast would lift the haze that seems to be on it. One thing I did notice though, is that it seems like the picture is tilted (all the lines, both in the fence and on the pump point to the upper right), rotating it so that the lines point straight up could (perhaps) work better.

I can't really say why, but I really LOVE this picture. I guess it has to do with the seemingly endless repeating pattern, the vibrant colors (was it this color in real life or did you do any adjustments?), and how it fades to black quite quickly.
