Where the Red Fern Growsby ltjmanComment: I find it unfortunate that instead of commenting on the photograph, everyone simply ignored the art, and pointed out the obvious: maple leaves are not ferns. One would have thought that would be clear enough...but dpcers have a penchant for such inane commentary. sigh. |

Minikinby kadac00Comment: I would suggest a tighter crop on the face...as another poster commented, the dof doesn't quite suit the pic. I like to use a shallow dof when the background is distracting-- thus i think a deeper one would be nice on this kitty to capture the rest of the body in tight focus. But I am no pro, and still have to shoot a hundred pics to get 2 i like. |

The Guardianby NodeComment: i love the colors...but the hotspot on the perch ruins it for me. |

with out man's partby bigfishComment: turquoise tint just doesn't do it for me. plus it added a nasty artifact on the mountain/shifter and brake cables. |

Bone Headby rameviComment: a tighter crop would greatly improve the shot. The eye/mouth is really dynamic, with particularly good texture, and I think that would be a better focal point for the shot. 6 |
