Skyward....by TerramarComment: nice idea, I would suggest cropping it tighter on the sides, perhaps in a square, so you dont have all the dead empty space distracting your eyes, looking for something else. |

ACby rscorpComment: very nice lighting and depth of field - I would suggest cropping it in a bit tighter on the right to eliminate the stick shift - with just the white knob ther against all that black, it is distracting, and does not really add lots to the image. |

Circulationby Man_Called_HorseComment: The large blurry object being so up front in the frame, and taking up more then half the image, really draws my eye to it - so my eye is looking at a blurry blob.
I would suggest that instead with this image, that you switch your focus - have the back object blurry, and your front object in focus. Would make viewing easier on my eyes. |

treadmill Trickeryby kiwinickComment: Just love the idea - must of been fun to shoot!
The shadow in the bottom left is distracting though. |

baleby john22132Comment: Wonderful idea, and good composition. I would suggest metering for the sky to avoid the sky from looking so blown out. If you have a DSLR - try a graduated neutral density filter - you can selectivley darken the sky, but keep the same exposure for the trees and field. While I know you can do this in photoshop with the filters feature, you can also do it 'in camera' so to speak. |

Circleby amichailComment: different idea for this image. What I would suggest for future staged shots is to make sure you wipe the surface to remove any hairs, or all that dust on the right side of the image. It really distracts, and can be easily taken care of by taking the time to pay attention to the surface you are shooting. It is the little things that can make a world of difference.
Other than that, good use of depth of field - you have several objects of different heights, and all are in focus. The lighting seems a bit harsh on the DVD's - if there was a window there, I would suggest closing the blinds, and having a longer exposure. You might need to use a tripod to achieve this, could result in more even lighting. Or, move the reflective object to a less lighted area - swithch the DVD's and the ashtray. |
