Nature's Paintingby DigiFotoBuddyComment: Like the trees and foreground but as kenskid said the lake and sky are rather blown out. You must have been in a shadowed area and shooting toward the lake where it was much brighter. I am not experienced enough to know what to suggest for camera settings to help avoid that. |

angle-jetty-IMG_3215.jpgby Bear_MusicComment: I agree with Neuferland, I like the angle shot better! It just grabs your eye and pulls it out to the sky and then back around again. Lovely! |

Oklahoma-Sunriseby kawesttexComment: I really love the colours you have in this shot. Your placement of the horizon and the sun are just perfect. There does appear to be some pixellation (noise) in the darker colours in the sky that does detract from the overall presentation of the shot. Maybe if you tried some digital noise removal (NeatImage or similar) that might smooth it out. |

Provenchier at Nightby alphonzoComment: Is this the restaurant in Winnipeg? Great clarity on structure with bright colours emphasized by the black fore and backgrounds. Awesome job! |

Lone Fishermanby GuGiComment: Cool idea. A little bit too high key for me. I would have liked to at least see all the detail of the cabin on the boat as well. |

"Soft falls the night: the waves break slow..."by Bear_MusicComment: Love the colours in this and the way thebreak water draws your eye into the picture.
edit to add: After reading your comments post challenge, (and seeing whose shot it was!), I retract my horizon comment. It is funny how colours can affect what the eye perceives. Well done, Robert! Message edited by author 2006-03-27 10:12:57. |

another waterfallby rachelellenComment: Like the soft effect on the water and the strong focus on the rocks. Don't like the blown highlights on the water but I don't know how to fix it! |

"ET Bugaboo"by getnoutsideComment: Sweet shot! Love the colours in the mist and the soft haze of what looks to be an early morning begging for a trip out onto the water before the wind picks up and everything starts waking up. |

Macroby KatmystiryComment: I like the clarity you got on the seed pod or whatever in this shot. The light and shadows really make the image pop. Have you considered trying it with a square crop to remove the stem or vine from the top part of the photo? I think this photo would look great with that type of crop too. |
