This is fabulous. I love the simplicity of it and, of course, the colors. The light on the pier just adds that something extra that makes this "WOW", can't wait until I take photos this good.

Oh, I love this ... the poppies against the green, the single tree, the rolling hills ... beautiful. Pity the sky on the left wouldn't cooperate, but I don't think it makes a lot of difference. Nicely done.
I live in SLO County and am having a difficult time finding large patches of poppies this year, except in the neighbor's yard.

Beautiful shot. I kept wondering what the circle in the middle was and now I know from reading the comments that it is a ferris wheel. I agree that toning it down would not draw the eye to it, but it's minor in such a gorgeous shot. Love the color of the sky. Can't believe it wasn't raining!

The Slide Rule

Great idea for OLD. At least the title would have told some of the young'uns what this is. I love slide rules! Now if only I could remember how to use one. I really like the lighting on this. I would have liked to see a little stronger focus on the middle of the slide rule.
