Sunrise in Mantisvilleby LydiaComment: Wow! Sharp Mantis, beautiful color on the flower, and smooth sky bokeh. And a nice/appropriate title too! Nicely done. |

? Up ¿ Down ? Sideways ¿ by Dr.ConfuserComment: Wondeful and confusing set of lines with an apt title :)
Love the converging lines leading to a pattern on the wall. Nice an appropriate B/W conversion as well.
I'm thinking the camera is looking up at the roof? |

The Transamerica Pyramidby claylikethemudComment: Nice high key treatment to the architecture. Love the pattern and the converging lines. Wish there was a teeny bit of breathing room above the focal point though. |

Leading the Packby ryant35Comment: They're all airborne at the same time and at roughly the same height :) Very good action shot! Very hard lighting conditions, and you did a very good job capturing the stopped motion. The noise in the dark sky is the only clue of a high ISO (as is some tiny loss of detail due to noise reduction). |

Untitledby JudiComment: Beautiful portrait of the girl and her pet. Very nice lighting and background. I would've liked a reflector on her back to give a little more definition to the wonderful hair. Fabulous expressions on the girl and the dog! |

Viennaby bcenuComment: Such a wonderful shot, and the first thing I notice is that the horizon is tilted :( My loss for not being able to enjoy the beauty. The moody sky, the expansive foreground leading up to the nice and colorful building - pretty nice. The lamppost is nice on it's own, but doesn't quite gel into the picture well (makes it unbalanced). |

Morning Reflectionby cdn1Comment: Love the isolated reflection, and the fact that all the striations in the rock are leading up to the house. Wonderful foggy atmosphere as well. |

15,000,000th (approx) Water Droplet Image on the Webby SunriseOnSeaComment: I started out with water droplets too, learnt rather quickly that DPC votes them down like crazy :) Especially in a Free Study - I hope you aren't getting hammered.
As an aside, DPC has also seen some extremely quality work in this aspect, so it's hard to match up to that quality to score well. Here's an example of a drop shot that's done well in FS:
Good luck! |

Tullipby tinkie2010Comment: Beautiful dew drops on the tulip. I think it's slightly oversaturated though. I just turned down red channel on my monitor and it was looking better. Also, would like a little more breathing space around the flower - right now it looks too crammed in. A very nice still life. |

Race the Stormby ecmguyComment: Very cool perspective - nicely exposed. The title fits very well too. Love the angry sky and its orange reflection in the water on the right. Might've benefited from a person on deck for scale and mood? |
