Stand-offby jsasComment: A little too bright in the background for my taste, but a great shot, nonetheless! I love pictures that look like they're from a place a little before my time, and I like things in black and white and speia one! Wonderfully done! |

Hazards of Living Wildby TwylaComment: Even though I could totally understand not wanting to be close to the frozen deer, a closer picture would have captured the over all emotion of the whole picture.. But also, I was a bit surprised to see a dead deer at first.. But honestly, It isn't about the object in the picture.. The color of the background.. It's about taking a good photograph.. Some people, animal activists or not, need to realize that that's what its all about! It's not like you killed the deer yourself, anyways.. |

Kudu Lunchby thomoComment: Colorfully entertaining picture! Wonderfully done! I, for one, like the sharpness of the backround. Everything looks perfect. This would have been a ten, for me! |

Not much to choose from in the city.by VanBergenComment: Im surprised with the detail and sharpness of the grass, its spectacular! Also, I like crows.. Definately a plus! This is a wonderful picture, and it belongs in black and white.. Just the mood of it seems best suited in black and white.. Wonderful picture! |

A Nice Red Shouldered Hawkby jorrComment: I hate most bird and squirrel pictures because theyre rediculously over rated and too easy to shoot, but this looks like a fantastic shot to me! It would have turned out a bit better if you had focused it a little better (although you dont want the bird to fly away, of course) or if you had first saved it as a BMP and sharpened it and then saved it as a JPEG, then perhaps it wouldnt have turned out as fuzzy.. Still, I would have given it an 8-9.. |

Cool Foggy Blueby glad2badadComment: This reminds me of a place I used to live.. And I miss it too.. I also envy this shot a bit because my camera cant take fog, dust, northern lights, or night pictures.. I wish I would have been around to rate this one! It would have been a straight 10 from me.. Nicely done! |

Anything For Loveby anthonyczajaComment: Ah, either an american garden toad or a canadian carpenter toad.. They dont bite, give warts, or foam out poison..
Im surprised I dont see more pics like this on this site.. Its an okay shot, but I think it couldve been rated higher if it wasnt such a closeup, her hair was under control, and the toad was sitting in her hand (but I dont blame her for not wanting to touch it! They urinate when disturbed) I would have atleast had the toad come at a lower angle with his forelegs resting on something. A boulder, perhaps? Still, VERY clever idea! =) |
