The door to heaven...???by ilsantoComment: I am confused about why this would be a portrait. But even if intended to be a portrait of a door handle and keyhole, I the filter effect is a negative, at elast for me, putting visual emphasis on a processing technique instead of enhancing the image. Others may differ. |

Natural Sunsetby dippydazComment: Although sunsets are natural light, I would expect a "portrait" to display something more distinctive about the personality or character of the subject. |

The Potterby ZoomdakComment: Thank you for including this very effective "environmental" portrait. Since many pottery workshops have rather poor lighting, I hope you will describe the windows/skylights/reflectors(?) used in this image. |

Skyline and the painted desert in the distanceby TalinanComment: Although the light is natural, it seems flat. Consider shooting when the sun is lower in the sky and generating shadows. Taking steps to get a sharper picture and a composition with a stronger focus of interest might help. |

Portrait By Window Light by scarbrdComment: Beautiful girl and beautiful eyes, excellent gradation of brightness across the face, sharp where it needs to be. Perhaps the narrow light crease under her right eye is a little distracting, but I enjoy the picture very much anyway. |
