I don't feel like this one effectively communicates the theme. It feels very sad. I think it could be more effective if the child was looking up. It's a beautiful image, but not appropriate for the theme.

I think this one works because I feel like it's about the power of the mind and how one can put mind over matter. How the world is so big and massive, but humans still have power. This one is really uplifting and motivational. It's powerful on different levels.

I think this one is really neat. It's a humourous take on the idea. I think it could've benefited from a greater depth of field, but otherwise it's pretty good.

At first I would've said that I didn't think this fit, but I think it does. I think what makes it work is all the lines going to the middle. It's a great image and it's really excellent composition.

I like it. I like the idea with using the orange because orange juice is supposed to be a great way to start off your day. Also, I like the power switch and the light. Great idea and great execution.

I really like the idea. It's kind of a traditional take on the word, but it's presented in such an unconventional way. I feel like there's a bit too much going on, with the structure of the tower, the clouds and the trees. I think the trees and the clouds take away from the electricity idea.

Absolut Power

I like it, but I think it would be more effective if the car were in motion. Also, the fact that it's a toy car bothers me. I like the connotation and all the ideas associated with the car.

This is a great image. I think it's a great approach to the theme. The only thing is that, given the title, I think it would be much stronger if there was a close up on the face of the tiger.

This is a great image. I think alot of it comes from the title because without that, I wouldn't quite understand how it fits the theme. The lightning is fantastic. There's a great tonal range and great contrast. I really like the symmetry and his intense expression. Great job.

Power in Lights

I really like this image because of the simplicity, the colors, the shape, the rhythm of the round shapes, but I don't feel like it conveys power. If the lights were brighter or if the angle were more straight on. It's a great image, but I don't really feel it fits the theme. Also, the stars or whatever that is in the upper third in the image really detracts from the lights.
