Oh no.. You could have gotten a great shot of ropes on that ship. This is "all over the place". No common theme and its messy.

Focus on a part of the rope or compose your shot to show the rope in "action".

The rope element is lost in this photo.

Impressive.. This was the type of impact and closeup I was hoping to see in this rope challenge. There were a few attempts, but I guess the other photographers were reluctant to give it a good crop.

The strength of this shot is in its crop and the cleaness of it. it shows strength and the rust brings out the reality of the shot. Loved it. a 10 for me.

Seemed like a simple shot, but the control of lighting is amazing... Looks even.

The only thing I have against this shot is the impact. so it'll be a 7 for me.

Simple take, good idea, but I felt the composition is a little uncomfortable for me. the rope seemed adnormally cropped at the top and bottom. 6 for me.

I must apologize for the directness... Had to comment as I've commited to do 100% comments and voting for this challenge.

This felt like a sloppy shot to me.
Looks messy and has a lack of composition.
Could have done better by having a tighter crop, neater knot, and some post processing..
