This is a great image, and I love the touch of the contact lens. I feel that it could have been a *little* sharper, but I understand how hard that can be considering the object you were focusing through.

very unique, and a nice capture. I would have cropped in to show less of her torso and the background, in order to center the image and draw the viewer into the subject, instead of being able to wander too freely.

I think his is too dark. I can't tell what is framing the image, or really even what the subject is unless you really look for it. I'd try again with a longer shutter and a larger aperature.

great idea. The large black borders aren't my favorite, this would have benefitted from slimmer ones for sure. You were probably going for the "Widescreen" effect though, so I'll chalk it up to personal dislike. The image itself is very nice. The harsh lighting actually works for me, and I think the creativity is top notch. 8

from experience, shooting into sunlight usually causes more dstraction than the effect you might have been looking for. The flare here washes out the child's face a little *too* much. I wonder if it might have been a better shot to do from a slightly better angle to avoid the flare. Great idea, however.

I See the Light

I see this extremely dark, with the sun blowing out the rest of the image. A larger aperature and a slightly slower shutter speed might have helped. (Although it might not have as well! :))
