Good picture. The DoF could have helped a bit more I think. I would think the jackets would pop out even in a Black&White image.. and perhaps more strongly...IMHO.. Hint hint :-)

Technically, the picture is good. The colors are well balanced, although I would have desaturaded the image a tad. Kid's expressions are priceless.

the thimble collector

I honestly didnt get what you tried to convey here. Is it:

- that the thimble provide safety for thumbs when sewing?

or

- that the thimbles are mostly made out of the US these days and pretty much identically so there is no point collecting them anymore?

If it is the former, why is the actor/actress sitting holding her head?
If it is the latter, where does safety come into picture?

If it was not for this confusion, I would have rated this one pretty high. It will still get a high score from me owing to a great technical shot.

Cant complain too much except for why the drops appeared here out of context:-) A good shot... contrast could have been better... perhaps with a dark colored box in the background?

This one is more on a funny side compared to many others. I must say very good for the thought itself. The execution could have been better IMO. Example: the whole frame is almost flat, a bit more contrast would have helped.
