i linked from some other photo website (can't even remember) to connie's webpage which in turn had a link to dpc.

Strangely enough, two places at the same time both linked to DPC - half-empty.org, and bbspot.com - the former being an article posted by Reuben, and the latter a 'daily spot' link. So now you know :o)

| Page 20,June 2002 issue of Digital Photo User magazine; overly expensive glossy mag with www.digitalphotouser.com.uk or something like that; and they rate sites reviewed - DPChallenge got a 5/10! I thought that pretty amusing ... |

It was some obscure link somewhere. The guy mentioned being totally wrapped up in the site since he found it, so I checked it out.
I forget who's site it was, and now I have no clue who to blame ' - ) |

I found this lovely place when i was on a mission to find digital photography contests from the yahoo search engine ... and here i am ... to stay :)

Me too. I never even thought about any kind of photo contest as I don't really regard myself as much of a photographer. I was looking for equipment on Olympus.com and noticed they had a contest. I had recently taken a pretty good picture and thought I might be able to enter that. It was after that I entered the same shot in a different contest and then went looking for more. So here I am.

I got interested in DPC through talking to manic, and sometimes jonr and reuben, about their photos at half-empty.org. So I basically followed them here after a while :).
