Welcome and I just saw the newsletter she sends out and she was so impressed with the site that she actually wrote a few lines about it in the newsletter. |

I don't think we'll be making urinal-tested stickers any time soon, but we will be printing the sticker challenge winners.
The postcard idea is a very good one -- we're still trying to see about the possibility of getting some dpcprints related text preprinted on the back.
We chose 500 pix largely for the reason Clubjuggle mentioned. Have any of you really been stopped from buying a print because you couldn't see it well enough?
Thank you to everyone who's already made an effort to help spread the word. Expect the referral program to roll out very soon -- and hopefully then you can plaster us everywhere you can think of!

For anyone who signs up for the America 24/7 photo project it asks for your favorite photography website. They say they want to compile a list of links. maybe just for their own advertizing, but maybe the list will get posted. We could all sign up whether or not we want to enter. |

I am donating 5 matted prints to a fund raising auction on Saturday... the prints will have stickers on the back with links to my print page and the dpcprints main page...

A thought. You go to a user profile on here, and there isn't a link to their print portfolio.
You can get there via finding a photo that has a print attached, clicking to the print page , then clicking on their name - but it isn't exactly simple or intuitive. I'd think a 'Print portfolio' button somewhere obvious on the profile page would help out both parties. |

There are a WHOLE lot of beautiful photos from challenges and just in portfolios and on profile pages that are NOT available as prints. I wonder if the owners of the images might not have appropriate ways to produce the prints (like myself if I ever had one good enough!).
Is there any way to assist them by providing printing services if somebody is willing to do it for a part of the fee, or listing links to affordable printing companies? |

DPC Prints "produces" and ships the prints -- the photographer only has to submit an appropriately prepared, high-resolution file and set the prices. |

Oh, cool! Forgive a newbie, please. I guess I got lost reading the faq's about prints. So, if we see an image that doesn't advertise "prints available" we could ask the owner if it could be? |

once i get my plotter working again (this weekend hopefully) I'll be able to make a vinyl lettering decal and stick it to my back window on my car ... i've got my website on there already but a direct web addy for dpcprints.com cant hurt either :) and i have the impact font so i'll just type it in that ...
If anyone wants a decal made email me at photosbyayme@Yahoo.com and i can send you one :) ... just need your addy or where ya want me to mail it and approx. size in length :)

I would like to have a flyer.. a single page advertisement that I can put on the counter in my local camera shop. I can do this with no trouble at all, but I would need to have a DPChallenge flyer with a DPCPrints link on it....
May I design a flyer to use on my own for this?

spot on idea....... perhaps if there was a printable version of a flyer accesable on the site.... we could get everyone to print off a pile and just put them in local cafes, art shops, or camera stores... to give to friends or even potential clients..... possably another idea to leave a blank space to type your personal link into before printing.....
if everyone printed off 50-100.... whew the numbers could get rather large.... could be a great way very low cost publicity to the general public.... worth thinking about. |

I agree... I could find quite a few local places that would let me drop a few flyers occasionally...

I had made this little poster with tear off tabs to put up on the free ad boards at stores and places like that. I've seen quite a few of the tabs missing, so SOMEONE is taking them. POSTER
It's just something I did with microsoft home publishing. Nothing real fancy, but hopefully it will get the word out a little. The little card in the scan was something I made before dpcprints launched, and I don't use them anymore. I need to make a new one.

Could be a fruity stock boy that's just bored during his break :p
Those work really good at colleges, libraries and bookstores. |
