Please help me to welcome my new friend and a newly registered DPCer,  jreb. He's still learning how to navigate around here, but I'm sure I can convince him to post some of his photos soon and maybe even to enter a challenge. |

Hey everybody. Today is June 1 and I'm just now learning how to respond to y'all's posts from March. This site is not the most user friendly site I've ever been on. BUT I'm looking forward to trying to figure it out. Lots of great photographer's on here. I was into photography in my 20's (just a couple of years ago) I'm 29 now for the 28th time. (you figure it out). My friend Cindy says I should be here. I'm not so sure yet. She's really a terrific photographer! Anyway.....I'm gonna give it a whirl. Thanks in advance for all your advice and comments.

Welcome Mike.
In all honesty, to me this is one of the best places to be on all the innernets. Free of ads, ulterior motives, and vitriol. Just good clean fun and learning - with the motivation of being awarded a digital ribbon; or if you're really good, someone's personal praise or icon of appreciation =))
I was pretty active here a few years back and I owe much of my love of photography to the people and competition here. It is dragging me back in lately and it is just as fun. Probably the most beneficial part for me is the levels of talent here ... from beginner to continually astounding - all playing in harmony. |

Hi Mike! I checked out your DPC profile page. Now my head hurts from information overload.
