Cool, can't wait to check out everyone's PADs. I restarted mine on November 1st. I'm already at PBase, so I'll stay there for now I think.
You can find mine here: Franziska's PAD
Warning - there may be the occasional DPChallenge entry in my PADs ....

Is this a POTD/PAD or just a photoblog?

I'll be going for the PAD challenge on this one. I figured I'd mold it into a personal diary of sorts. I'm never very good with writing so this will keep me honest with my photography exploration and a journal of my daily life at the same time. Killing two birds with one stone. Can't wait. |

It worked OK when I added it, so I guess jrtodd is updating the site or something.. Keep an eye out for an update or it coming back online.

I managed to almost keep going at my Picture a Week (PaW) challenge.
Made 40 out of the 52 weeks in the year - which I'm pretty happy about.
A picture a day would just stress me out too much and introduce too many
bad pictures I think.
You can see my efforts at:

Gordon you have some great stuff in there. Being an animal lover I like the tiger a lot. I love the building with the bike on week 35 and like what you did with the cactus in week 47. Good job :)

Let me give this a try too. Already had a blogger User ID from August 2003 ... and only two test posts. Set up a Hello account. Both are 'tonyvr'.
Looking forward to this. I have made a conscious effort over the last three weeks to take some pictures every day ... and to climb in the car are look for interesting things ... like fires and sunsets and etc.
Cheers
Tony

The links only work if you have all the posts from this thread displayed on 1 page, since there is no page number in the URLs.

I like 10 and 44 myself G.
10 being the crew team rowing - awesome DOF and look on the girl's face.
44 being the windowsill - amazing photo.
I hope two of my 365 next year are nearly as good!

Thanks - the rowing one was one of the first with my 1DII. Almost went swimming with it, but worth it I think!
The windowsill shot is almost one I deleted - I had a specific shot in mind, with that shake/ impressionist look and never quite found the composition. Something I've been trying is to do my editing a fair bit after the fact - so I don't still have the memory of what I was going for in my head, but look at the images with a bit more of a dispassionate eye - lets me see if the picture is good, and not if it met what I was trying to achieve. |
