This also is my first challange. I'm also new to DP and this site. I look at the 'so called' negitive comments as constructive. It's all a learning curve for me.

I am still at the 4.9's and have been from the second day of voting. What I am most upset by is that I still only have three comments, and they were there within the first hours of voting.
I am beginning to feel so disappointed, as I have commented on so many entries since joining, (50% to 100% in most challengs) and only recently cut back to commenting on about 25% to 50% of entries, due to time restraints.....
I do realize that there is over 600 entries, but please comment more if possible. |

Good morning - This is a nice thread.... encouraging (thank you) Sherpet, I hope that I have gotten to yours but might not have yet... I have voted on 100% and left comments on 36% to date... I will be doing my best to comment on them all - just going to take me a little while.. :) Because of this positive experience I will enter more challenges - esp. after finding out how fun/frustrating/frantic the update button is (grin) - mac

I am trying to comment more and vote on all of them. I just finally hit 20% of the pics and only 1% commented. I am on wireless at work so I will have to vote more tonight! |

I won't have time to vote on all this time around (sorry, I usually vote when I submit to a challenge), so I won't vote; but I am going to leave at least as many comments as I get on my submission, preferably more. Hope this way at least the number of comments in this challenge goes up :)

Surprisingly, out of 166 votes, I've only received one comment. I'm still leaving as many comments as I can, and I understand with 600+ entries it's hard to give everybody words of encouragement or criticism, so maybe the comments will arrive later in the challenge... |

| 5.29,,, and 6 comments, and only one critical the rest positive, and the critical one was on the title. Im kind of disappointed on my score so far I was hoping for much better witht this one. I well just keep trucking along. Also those in the sub 4 range after the competition if you want send me a pm and if I havent left you a comment I will add one :) |

sheesh! i'm with you on this one G!
my image is going down fast! i just got hit with a barrage of low ball scores - all under 4! i dropped by .15 just today alone! it's unbelievable how people can just leave low ball scores just for spite (it seems). it still amazes me to this day. oh well, i guess in the whole scheme of things, if your image is strong, people will vote as such. these low scores from trolls are like pesky gnats. it bugs the hell out of ya but it won't really sting that much.

I'm doing my usual in terms of score but the comments have all been positive and someone picked it as a favorite. I've never been added as a favorite during voting and this week I've been added 3 times! Twice for my 80's entry (which is also my highest score ever, by far, at 6.20-ish) and once for Duotones.
