letting go can mean a variety of things, i will try to explain as best as i can:

it means to be able to retreive yourself from something,
example: "i had a hard time -letting go- of my car when i coulnt afford the payments"
"it is the hardest thing to -let go- of your lover at the end of a passionate night"
"me and my brother were pulling on this toy at the same time, and when i let go of the toy my brother fell down"

it can also meant o let something go away from you:
example:
"i had to let go of the dog when he started pooping all over the house"

i am sure there are other meanings to it. but these are the ones that i can come up with this late at night..
hope it helps...

Not holding on to a memory/even/situation/ person after it has past is usefulness, not to be held back in liefs journey by past evens/ people who are no longer relevant in your life.

Whatever the phrase might mean, pictures which are likely to do well might include.

#1 A bird being let loose
#2 A dog/cat/your fav pet being let loose
#3 Any object seen / percieved as dropping out of your hand...

In short more literal the representation better will the chances

Hmm...

On second thoughts all I say might be wrong - go figure :D

Comon use for "to forget","to stop paying attention to something"or loosing control of something!

That is how my Macedonian brain understood the phrase!

Also: coming to terms with given circumstances by refocusing or refreshed perspective.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of letting go of your control/temper/emotions.

Letting go and jumping for joy at a happy moment or letting your anger make you lash out.

Now I'm thinking that this may be too abstract and gather lots of 'Not meeting the challenge' comments.

What do you think about that?

God news.........you're all right.
PS...thank goodness nobody brought up the horse "letting go" on the Bud Super Bowl commercial.

Other ideas letting go of something you have thats very special or means a lot... (money) (loved one) ect.

There's also a meaning of letting go in the more broad sense of relationships. Such as a child going to college or losing a loved one- you are letting go of the constant physical attachment.

I took this last year, but it fits this challenge. I'm still thinking of a new shot.
