Hopefully most voters vote quality and not rank, meaning a 6 is a 6, a 1 is a 1, a 10 is a 10 no matter what the challenge. |

| The score is okay. The comments are amazing!!! Cnovack left a long, descriptive and helpful comment. I mean long and observing. Very impressive. I even got a k10dguy story/comment. LOVE IT!! |

I have turned my score off! It went up a bit from this morning and I got overexcited & know watching it go down will just make me sad! I will check once a day for the rest of the week : )
However much I say I did this one for love and not a good score, now my score is good thats what im thinking about. Just best not to look |

LOL: I got a "Is this really your best shot?" comment...
It likely is not my "best" shot depending on how you define it. It is one of my favorite shots, in a genre that is one of my favorites.
I certainly would not be holding my breath for great scores on what is essentially 1128 entry, multi-year span Free Study. I am happy to participate :-) |

hmmm..... I'm getting a lot of conflicting comments... some people said that they were impressed by the sharpness and clarity of the picture, while other people scored it lower because they said it lacked sharpness and clarity... |

Mine is slowly sliding from a strong 6.3333 to a 5.89, but I'm happy to have lots of comments! [eta] even though 3 of them are 2 word comments. I guess that's one way to get through all the images.

It seems people tend to grade lower and more critically for any given shot on a monthly FS than on a weekly challenge and even more so on "your best picture ever".

| I was wrong to presume that voters will be generous for this challenge. I can say that while looking my score fall into same mediocre level. The only positive take away is 10 constructive comments so far. Thank you commentators. |

Indeed, I'm astounded to have 8 comments already, given the sheer number of images to comment on... there must be a boatload of commenting going on!
ETA: What's also amazing is 90 votes on 115 views. 90 votes already? and with that kind of image count? We're going to blow away the record for total votes.
My score of 6.1 is not that special, but it's about what I predicted, and I'm comfortable with it. I haven't been able to begin voting or commenting, but I have time set aside this evening, and I'm greatly anticipating it!

| I went to bed with a 7.0 after 8 votes ... woke up to a 5.9 ... now it's fallen to a 5.8 ... it's been quite a few challenges since I've been able to break the 6.0 mark ... I thought for sure that this one would get to that level ... |

| I'd bet the scores settle in the normal range for a FS, 7.5 and down. With 12-15 7+ scores. |
