I really enjoy reading these interviews. I'm surprised on wasn't done with Robert quite a bit sooner. Thanks to you both!

A+ interview. I was on the edge of my seat, fell off, got back up and continued on.
Put me on the waiting list for "Bear's Memoirs" when it eventually comes out.
...oh, and also put me on the list for Karma's tell-all book where the real truth comes out.

Congrats and kudos to both interviewer and interviewee. I appreciate and have missed this feature of the site as well.

If you make it to the final two lines you see that it was attempted a couple of years ago ... :-)

Well done guys!

They tried. Strangeghost tried... Oh, how he tried! This was a couple years ago. I just never followed through, I found myself self-conscious about it. Mr. Strangeghost, if you're reading this, my apologies again!

And Edward, thanks for putting up with my foot-dragging THIS time, and yes, thanks even for the glares and foot-tappings as you pursued me doggedly through these forums and did your best to keep me focused on the main task.

I don't think there's any "they" involved here -- this is an individually-conducted member contribution/project.

I'm sure you are welcome to interview someone yourself and send the info to Langdon for formatting, much in the way members are encouraged to contribute tutorials and how-to articles.

What a great interview, always thought of Bear Music as a smart guy.

I'll echo Alan Freed's remark. IT's a good and fun read. I have that Firefox gizmo enabled where it's possible to see the profile pics of the posters. Seems to me, Alan, you were sporting a white milk mustache a while back. getting a bit sloppy, eh?

Okay, back to the very fine interview with Bear_Music who apparently impersonates this guy named Robert Ward. took me a while to figure out who Robert Ward was.
:-))

First of all, kudos to Edward for getting this done. It's been a long time since we had an interview published, and this, well, it's one of the best.
Robert, what a fabulous, honest interview you gave, my friend. Here's hoping that we might shoot together again in the not-too-distant future!

"It's hard to pinpoint how this has "affected" my life as it's always been a part of the only life I have."

Good answer! I enjoyed the interview. Thank you.

Great Interview.

I simply can't believe I've known you this long and didn't know you were hearing impaired, but more importantly a dog owner! How did I miss this?

Excellent!

Great stuff Bear Music and K10DGuy! This is one of many reasons why DPC is appealing to myself. Thank you for sharing.

I echo the sentiments of what an enjoyable read it was. I would also like to thank you for the mention Bear, seeing one of my shots up there really blew me away. I have never won a ribbon but I can't imagine it feels better than this!

Brilliant read. Great to get an insight into someone who has been around photography a long time, both here and at work. Congrats and thanks to both of you

Very nice interview! Thanks kindly to both interviewer and interviewee!

And Lisa, he's not "hearing impaired" - he can't hear a thing. This does not, however, prevent him from being a great conversationalist. It does, however, mean you have to hit him in the arm or flail your arms about violently to get his attention to respond to something he just said. :-) And he really is an awesome cook. Everyone should descend upon Mr Bear (with fair warning) for a very delightful (and possibly expensive) visit to the Cape. (Unless you're willing to spend money, do NOT let him loan you any equipment, like, say, a 10-22 lens or a hefty, sturdy Manfrotto tripod... You've been warned...)

A very fine interview gentlemen.

Bear- I really appreciate your views on photoshop and PP in general especially your comments on basic vs. advanced editing.

Thanks for the heads up Deb - GRIN!

I am stunned actually, I guess when I 'talk' to Bear through DPC, I just imagine us talking in real life - I guess like I feel like I'm talking to you now Deb - GRIN! Now I'll just have to imaging smacking him first - SMILE!
