I can see what Sherpet is talking about - the colors do indeed mimic those of the shavings of a pencil .. I enjoy the cats peaceful sleep .. orange tabby cat are so pretty you did him justice - I say him as they are usually male.

I REALLY LIKE THIS PHOTO AS I KNOW IT SILLY BIT IT REMINDS ME OF MY ONLY RIBBON PHOTO RE THE LEAVES AND MY SHAVEN PENCILS... SILLY BUT IT DOES RE THE LEAVES AROUND THE CAT AND THE SHAVINGS AROUND THE PENCIL SIMILAR IN TEXTURES AND COLORING I THINK XOX ADDED IT AS A FAVORITE XXOXX

This setup had potential, but to me, it falls flat in its composition. I like how kittie blends into the leaves, but placing her right in the center and including the greenery at the top of the image ruins the image.

This could have been a scene in my own backyard! I have a ginger cat and many fallen oak leafs. The South African autumn was over all too quick.
