I have three little boys and it is so hard to get them to cooperate for photos! I have even more appreciation for your entry this week for that reason! Great capture of emotion! It is a tiny bit blurry due to some motion, but you've adjusted it well to get a great shot! Cropping is perfect, too. Good luck in the challenge!
By the way, this shot reminds me of one at DPC. Are you Shelley Sanders?

Great capture. I like the contrast in this, and the look of total enjoyment on his face.

there is a little too much blurriness in the picture, making the black and white not as sharp and leading to an overall dull picture

Looks like a great helper and model. The double bright spots in his eyes fro the flash? are quite distracting to me. Also it looks like the focus is not as sharp as it should be for a shot of this type. He is an action figure and the soft focus takes away from that feel. Good job though.

This is just so adorable! The composition is great, as is the lighting. His expression is wonderful.

The black and white of the blanket don't seem to work well along with the plain grey background. If one or the other were present I think it would work better. As is it seems to turn the top left corner into cluttered space instead of negative space. Good expression and a cute kid. 6
