 I had wanted to get some Osprey pics, since I knew of a few nesting pairs and was hoping to grab some shots of them flying with fish. Unfortunately, overtime happened and then my climbing trip was cancelled in favor of a hurried preparation for backpacking. As such, I've entered a zoo shot, because I was at the zoo during the shooting period anyway.

He's very much alive.

Didn't do much sitting still, actually, getting a shot in focus despite shooting at ISO 1000 was a struggle.

This is a Green Magpie.

I'm sorry, but the first thing I thought when this loaded was 'it's stuffed, not real'. So sorry if this isn't the case :(

Amazing feather detail. Great colors. 9 I'm totally stumped as to identity of species. Must not be found in North America.
