uhm sorry, but it's a house finch...easy to confuse the two. Still, a very nicely lit shot, tack sharp. Good work! 6 |

Streaked flanks, pale grayish auriculars and curved culmen indicate this is a House Finch. I could certainly be wrong. I really like the pose and the oak perch and background. There are some indications of "jaggies" on the feather edges and tree leaf and stem edges. Not sure why, but it's noticable. |

Excellent capture. You must have amazing patience to get this. Wonderful detail, dof, colour etc. One little nitpick - I wish he was more to the left in the frame, not so centred. |
