Would've been great for stopped action... as a transition it works too.

Interesting subject.

Seems a bit vague wuith its connection to the title
04/27/2002 06:02:00 AM
I wish there had been just a little more contrast in this shot.
04/26/2002 09:20:00 PM
is this egypt? this is a great picture. i think you could do alot in photoshop too to make it more contrasty and have more impact.
04/24/2002 12:34:00 PM
excellent detail and color, but the camera looks tilted to the left and I'd like to see more of the arch of the spray and boat!
04/24/2002 03:41:00 AM
I think that this would have worked better if we could see less dredger and more of where the sand is landing
04/23/2002 07:52:00 PM
I want to see more of the plume. Great otherwise.
04/23/2002 04:24:00 PM
Nice idea. Shame the framing wasn't opened up to see the 'new' beach.
04/23/2002 03:56:00 PM
Is the ship spraying sand onto the beach? The picture is alright but it doesn't have anything that really comes out and grabs me. It probably would have been served well by brightening the image.
04/23/2002 12:26:00 PM
wow, but i'd like to see where the matter that makes up the arc is landing...
04/22/2002 08:33:00 PM
i wish i could have seen what was going on on the other side of that dirt hose. this shot would have been great if you had taken it when the dirt was just emerging from the water, forming the beach
04/22/2002 08:10:00 PM
Interesting transition... It's definitely unique!
04/22/2002 04:32:00 PM
Bet alot of folks don't understand the concept of a dredge. We have a fairly limited education as a crowd.
04/22/2002 12:37:00 PM
color a little dull, but a good shot otherwise
04/22/2002 12:09:00 PM
Good example of a transition!
04/22/2002 11:51:00 AM
This isn't very eco friendly is it? haha..
04/22/2002 10:11:00 AM
Nice.
04/22/2002 08:11:00 AM
i don't see it
04/22/2002 07:43:00 AM
The only change I would make is to brighted it up a bit.
04/22/2002 07:28:00 AM
horizon seems tilted and the subject is all brown, blue and grey. Maybe less of the boat and more of the spray, showing it landing, would have been interesting ?
04/22/2002 07:15:00 AM
Without the title, I'd be lost. It looks like the ship is just polluting the body of water that it's in. Maybe a view of what it's spraying to the right would've gotten your message across.
04/25/2002 01:08:00 PM
Maybe having where the mud was falling in shot would help emphasise the transition
04/23/2002 02:12:00 PM
good interesting shot and idea
04/22/2002 02:04:00 AM
I'd like to see where its landing
04/22/2002 12:41:00 AM
This is not a good subject to convey your point of transforming ocean into land. There's only ocean and no land or a beginning of what might look like land. As far as I can tell, the black stuff can be oil or smoke.
