I can't place this, but perhaps this is a tree in Isreal? Its a great twist on our apple harvest here in the States, Love apples under the olive tree- (Peace and Love?)

I like the whimsical touch of the pomegranates against the gnarled roots of the tree. Excellent control of light and exposure for a minimal editing challenge.

maybe only 1 pomegranates would have made a bigger impact...this just looks a little too staged

Gorgeous color and I love the pomegranates - wish they were arranged differently but I don't know quite how. I have the sense I've seen this image before. One of the top entries in the challenge for me. Voted earlier.
