Brilliant and macabre. My concern is the lack of utensils, or chainsaws :) WD on your yellow.
Didn't know DPC was the proving ground for the MPAA rating system :P of which 11 took part in this round.

Grats on your ribbon!:-) The concept of mixing the macabre with a 'renaissance feast' is a good one. I am going to echo the sentiment that I wish the backdrop was not outdoors for the trees make the scene way too busy IMHO. The dining room table conjures more of an indoor feast akin to medieval or renaissance feasts (the roast pig is what makes me think that) that one sees in paintings or old book prints. Actually, the more I think upon this the more the revelers and feast would look really good if placed in a medieval/renaissance stone wall hall.

Well done Joshua, a trial by fire both sides of the camera sees you the better man. I might skip the dinner but go hard dude ;)

Congrats on the ribbon! I am glad to see that satanic cannibal cults have very conservative taste in their outdoor oak dining room tables/ritual sacrifice altars.

Congrats. The you behind your bum must be bummed to be bummed by his own bum. :) Ignore the hate mail. Always a plus to piss off a few voters. You did good.

We all know that the worst thing for a work of art is to be ignored. Obviously yours is a great success! Congratulations on the much deserved ribbon. You obviously don't need my advice about that, but please ignore those that are much better at getting noticed with their provocative words, than with their photos. Can't wait to see your next creation.

Always fascinated by the images you create. This is unsettling and uncomfortable to look at, but that is a compliment!

Each time I reviewed the entries, I passed this one quite quickly - but I did stop long enough to give it an 8 in a challenge that pretty much gave me the creeps :) Congratulations, Josh.

Hehe...oh this one made me smile! I don't find it spooky but rather amusing. Especially the character to the right who seems to already have had enough and looks like he could not possibly have another bite. A definite 10 for all the work and imagination you put into this. Really impressive!
