 4 Image HDR of my wife's teddy bear in our building fire exit stairway.. The light was on in the stairway, so shot to underexpose and give a dark, dreary feel. Cropped, Tonemapped twice, Contrast, applied dust and scratches and warming filters to give a vintage look. Adjusted shadows/highlights, dodge to highlight the bear and burn to burn away some highlights on the stairs (first time that i attempted this technique thanks to tips from pamb), added border and resized for web.

Im happy with the shot but not sure how it will do in the challenge. :-)

I can't work out what the object on the stairs is, it doesn't look very interesting so there isn't much of a story in it being abandoned. focus look sto be in the right place and the treatment gives me the feeling of an old discarded photograph so in part these elements are working. (4)

having trouble seeing what the toy is, as the pattern on the stairs is quite busy. otherwise a dramatic shot emphasizing the abandonment.
