 This is Leroy. He told me he was trying to get off the streets. I gave him some money and I asked to take his photo. He seemed to not mind and we wished each other a good day. I know this is not a perfect focus image, but with street shots and manual focus lens, I am still learning how to get it right the first time around. I'll get there.

This was my top pick - a wonderful portrait in every way: subject, framing, detail, tones. Congratulations on the HM.
eta Do you know I never noticed the softness of the nose until this very minute when I read YOUR apology about focus and went back to see what you meant. That's now strongly the personality and processing carried this for me.

Great light that helped showing the wrinkles. Love the light in the eyes. Amazing model. Wish the nose was sharper. But overall I love this portrait!

Excellent street portrait. The wrinkles in his eyes line up with his hair, folds in his clothes and zipper. Nice bit of bokeh in the top left too.
