 Of the various ideas I had for this challenge...this was one of them. Actually, a similar shot was what prompted me to suggest the automotive details challenge. I just think its cool looking at the taillights of classic cars, as they are often so very different from what we are used to today.

I got really lucky and there was a classic car show over the weekend. It was packed, so spending more than a few seconds at a car would mean people walking into your shot. You really had to have a shot in mind, then think about how to compose and take it before you got to the car.

I do enjoy how this turned out. The one minor detail I wish I could change is cutting off the tip of the tail fin. Other than that, this is perfect to me.
